About

Organisation for Strategic Development in Africa is an NGO in disposition and commits itself to bringing accelerated development to communities of Ghana and beyond. The organisation was established on 26th September, 2011 under the banner name, “Organization for Strategic Development in Africa” and OSDA as its acronym by a team of young dynamic, enthusiastic and dedicated men and women who are so compassionate to the plight of African communities. It is strategically positioned and remains resolute to concentrate its efforts, resources and energy to ensure the sustainable achievement of its aims and objectives of providing social development in the fields of manpower capacity development of the society more importantly, the youth through sound formal and informal education. Also stimulate actions which seek to promote and encourage a cogent and effective delivery of health, and environmental practices, sustained alternative livelihood income generating programmes, strengthening existing socioeconomic activities and structures of local communities through dissemination of best practices. Promotion of international peace through infusion of cultures of diverse ethnic backgrounds as people across the globe are organises and mobilised to liberally offer their leisure periods to undertake social development activities on a voluntary basis without any form of discrimination

Mission

Recognising that no single organisation or sector can solve the world's most challenging developmental challenges, OSDA seeks to build partnerships that leverage the combined skills, assets, technologies, and resources of other stakeholders to co-create a partnership that taps into the respective strengths of different partners in order to deliver sustainable development projects. Such collaborations allow us to do more together than we can individually. OSDA will continue to collaborate closely with local and international development partners, government agencies, and commercial entities in resource mobilisation to effectively respond to the development needs of our marginalised communities.
